FAQs

How does our massage differ from general massage?

While general massage primarily aims at relaxation (Swedish), our focus is on resolving specific muscle discomfort you’re experiencing. Both approaches involve hands-on treatment or using cupping or moist heat to help with the healing power of touch.

However, in general massage, clients typically undress and lie under a sheet, receiving equal attention across the body.

In contrast, our sessions concentrate on identifying and treating the muscles causing your pain, which may be conducted fully clothed like Thai massage (optional), either sitting (or lying down or a combination of both positions).

In general massage, clients may passively “zone out,” whereas with our massage, client feedback is crucial for effectively addressing the issue. Additionally, unlike general massage, resolving muscle pain requires multiple sessions. Plan for four to six sessions to noticeably decrease discomfort that has developed over months.
